2026 U.S. National Baton Twirling Championships (USTA)

July 7 - July 12

The 2026 USTA National Baton Twirling Championships and Collegiate Championships will bring together some of the nation’s top baton twirlers for one of the premier events on the competitive twirling calendar.

Hosted by the United States Twirling Association (USTA), the annual championship serves as the organization’s highest level of national competition. Athletes from across the United States will compete for national titles in individual, duet, team, and collegiate events.

Founded in 1958, the USTA is one of the oldest baton twirling organizations in the United States. The association has played an important role in developing competitive baton twirling through its emphasis on technical excellence, sportsmanship, and athlete development. For generations of twirlers, qualifying for and competing at USTA Nationals has represented a major milestone in their careers.

The Collegiate Championships, held in conjunction with the national event, provide a showcase for university twirlers and collegiate athletes representing schools from across the country. The competition highlights both individual achievement and the continued tradition of baton twirling at American colleges and universities.

As athletes, coaches, and families gather for the 2026 championships, the event will continue a long-standing USTA tradition of celebrating excellence in the sport of baton twirling.
