Mizzou Twirler-For-Day is Saturday, September 9!

University of Missouri for our 76th Marching Mizzou Band Day! Join the acclaimed 350-member Marching Mizzou for a massed-band performance to cheering crowds during half-time on Faurot Field. Twirlers ages 7-18 are invited to participate. Twirlers attending independently will receive a Mizzou Twirler Day t-shirt, two complimentary tickets to the game (student twirler and one adult chaperone), box lunch, and picture with current Marching Mizzou Feature Twirlers and Truman the Tiger. Select advanced high school twirlers are eligible to perform a solo routine in the end zone wearing black and gold. Please note: Twirlers participating as a member of their band should not complete this registration form since you will be included with your band’s registration.

• 4-spin vertical/3-spin horizontal
• Variety of catches and contact material
• Double-Illusion Toss Cartwheel (Toss Walkover preferred)
• 2-Baton Skills (showers, hi/lo material, dual pattern, double toss)
• 3-Baton Skills (3 different modes including pendulums, showers, horizontal and vertical boxes/combinations) Rolls (fishtails, continuous back neck spins, long arms, Fujimi’s)
• Strong Bodywork (leaps, kicks, laybacks, leg holds)
• Showmanship (display a great smile and presence on the field, strong sense of hard work, teamwork, and professionalism while on and off the field)
